Only the most recently used catalog will be converted automatically.Catalogs created in older version of the product would need to be converted to the latest version.Although it is not necessary to uninstall any previous version of Photoshop Elements, Adobe does not recommend switching between older and newer versions of the Photoshop Elements Organizer.
